This Is Me

Okay, I know I've said in the intro to this blog that I was going to overcome my personal 'fears' of letting others read my stories and ideas. I've been working on a post with a possible excerpt but… I didn't realize how crazy nervous I get when it comes to sharing my writing.

And it's not you folks reading because you all are some of my biggest supporters. It's just going to take me a minute to get over this fear, this insecure jumble of nerves.

And now that I think about it, this is probably why I haven't written any books or submitted any essays or actually chased a writing career. I'm too doggone scared/nervous of what they'll say or think.

Anyway, I will share some of my writing, I just don't know when. I may share a screenshot of what I'm writing, or maybe a whole excerpt. You'll get a little taste of who I am. It's just going to take a little bit of time, and a lot of me encouraging myself to be a 90's kid and Just Do It! 😏

And thank you all for your texts and words of encouragement and hyping me up. I'll get there.

[NOTE: Okay, after deliberating with myself the whole day lol I decided to share the first (and part of the second) paragraph of something I'm working on now. It's an extremely early-early draft, with just one quick read-through edit (the light blue writing). Sorry for the blackout job, too, but didn't want to show much more than this. Once I'm more comfortable sharing these types of writings, I'll share a few more lines with you. Maybe even whole pages!]
